Our Pool

After 30 years of operation in Christchurch, Kings had outgrown our two previous smaller pools in Aidanfield and Upper Riccarton and required a high-performance, cost-effective solution to enable us to keep up with rapidly growing demand for our learn to swim classes.

We chose an innovative solution for our new pools, using new construction technology including New Zealand’s first fully enclosed sprung structure, a high-performance tensioned membrane system with a high level of thermal insulation, brought in from North America.

Unique Facilities

The Kings Swim School pool stands out from other swimming schools in Christchurch and Canterbury, thanks to integration of a central daylight strip providing natural lighting, acoustic control helping to reduce standard pool noise, and full climate control.

We are proud to provide swimmers with a vastly different experience to any public pool facilities.

The sprung enclosure and pool tanks are highly durable, and the pool water systems are specified to achieve a high level of water quality with low chlorine requirements thanks to the UV filtration system.
